This is a hard story to listen to, but worth the time. I feel so sorry for Katherine, and hope she can enjoy a much better life now. I hope this never happens to anyone else but I'm not naive enough to think this is true. How cruel we can be to our own family.
Rather repetitive
I loved this book. I can't believe how the system failed this woman, yet she has become a strong, intelligent amazing woman and mother.

Very well written book, how she survived the years of abuse is beyond words
The story really moved me & made me wonder how & what many others in our communities are enduring. I think it was a good read, particularly to be more aware. I really felt for Katherine & her situation.
